An operator at a control desk, with a wall of monitors showing several camera feeds.
Our software

The pipeline that drives the wall.

We build the software that runs our volumes rather than licensing it, and we use it ourselves on the floor every shooting day.

Inside it

Four parts, built in-house.

Because we wrote each of them, we can change them while a shoot is running.

01 · Camera tracking

Stype RedSpy reports the lens position.

The wall redraws to match, so perspective holds through a travelling move.

02 · Colour management

A predictable path from scene file to sensor.

Specified in Rec.709 and P3, agreed before the camera rolls, and held to delivery.

03 · Scene delivery

Switched in minutes, not hours.

Versioned, and shipped to your VFX vendor as shot.

04 · Environments

Built for the moves you need.

And lit to answer a change in your key.

On the day

Why we build it ourselves.

If something needs changing at eleven at night, the engineer who wrote it is on the floor. We tune the pipeline around your camera package on the test day, not on a vendor’s release schedule. And because the four parts were built against each other, there is no integration layer to drift, or to blame.

Environments

Three ways to get a world onto the wall.

Which one suits you depends on how much the camera has to move.

If the camera moves

Built for the script.

Built with your production designer. Full camera movement, lit to match your key.

If you have reference

Adapted from your reference.

Arrive with a scout, a matte or a stills library.

If it plays behind you

Plate playback.

Driving plates, skies or crowds, played back in sync.

Handover
